Judge and acting advisor at the Court of Accounts in Beirut, and namely in charge of auditing several administrations, public institutions and municipalities, Mr. Elie Maalouf is an expert in all aspects of public financial management.
He is member of different committees within the Lebanese Civil Service Board in charge of recruitment, of the committee in charge of the modernization of financial procedures in public hospitals, and a legal advisor to a number of public administrations and institutions.
He has participated to various training and capacity building projects, ranging from the preparation and peer-review of training modules related to public financial management, to acting as an advisor and trainer in several projects related to public procurement, and assuming the role of a key expert in the capacity building program for municipalities and the financial oversight training program.
Judge Elie Maalouf is a lecturer at La Sagesse University on public finance, taxes, law, and public accounting, as well as the university's coordinator of public finance courses.
