Mr. Georges Maarawi is the Director General of Land Registration and Cadastre at the Ministry of Finance since May 2015 and the head of the Mount Lebanon Regional Bureau since 2005.
He works to apply tax function effectiveness and advises taxpayers on all direct and indirect tax matters.
He also participated to the implementation of VAT in Lebanon and worked as an expert to the World Bank, IMF and IFC.
He graduated with an MBA from the UQAM-ESIG University, and is currently a lecturer at the Lebanese University.
