Gheorghe Cazan is a public procurement consultant with almost 30 years’ experience in the field.
He was General Director in the Romanian Public Procurement Agency, responsible for drafting the PP legislation
and contact point for procurement with the EU DG Markt during the Romania’s accession process. He was also SIGMA senior adviser during 2019 -2021.
Gheorghe Cazan has a broad international experience in the field of public procurement, participating in committees of EU (Advisory Committee on Public Procurement, Working Group on Electronic Procurement) and being co-opted in many projects as external expert of European Commission, Sigma OECD and World Bank.
