The Institut des Finances Basil Fuleihan participated to the “Open Contracting Legislative Guide” virtual launch, organized by Open Contracting Partnership and Thompson Reuters Foundation.
The new report provides insights and guidance on how countries have cemented open contracting approaches into their legislation modernizing public procurement, supporting reforms that put transparency, efficiency and equity at its core.
The event featured global practices and experiences including those of Chile, Ukraine and Lebanon. Lamia Moubayed Bissat shared the challenges faced in delivering the reform and Lebanon current needs in terms of guidance and support.
