In the framework of on-going consultations with national stakeholders, an exchange session was jointly organized with the Directorate of Budget at the Lebanese Ministry of Finance around the public procurement reform evidence-based process and the draft public procurement law.

At the occasion of the session, 14 senior officials and expenditure controllers of the Directorate of Budget were exposed to the findings and recommendations of the MAPS assessment and the new draft law. The exchange focused on draft law provisions pertaining to procurement planning targeting all procuring entities and integration within the public financial management process.
