This report presents the progress of public procurement reform in Lebanon during the first quarter of 2022.
It highlights the strengthening of the national momentum towards the sound entry into force of the Public Procurement Law no.244/2021 on July 29, 2022 with the formation of an inter-ministerial committee and the nomination of the Institute as the Committee’s Secretariat.
It presents progress on the parallel reform tracks launched in the framework of the implementation of the short term action of the strategic action plan 2022-2024, and the technical assistance provided by international partners, as well as the resources needed to meet reform objectives.
