2012 was marked by qualitative achievements at the Institut des Finances Basil Fuleihan. Among them figures the launching of the new website, the publishing of the journal “Assadissa”, the ongoing preparations for the introduction of Specialized Training Certificates, as well as our continuous work with Lebanese high officials. In 2012, we also worked towards the promotion of economic and financial education, we started the implementation of the “Institutional Development Plan: Horizon 2015”, and organized numerous other training initiatives to improve the professionalism and performance of the Institute as a public sector capacity-building center specialized in Public Financial Management and Customs. The year also stressed the importance of building bridges, networking, and reinvigorating strategic partnerships in Lebanon and the region.
