Lebanon’s Public Procurement Reform Strategy was approved by the Council of Ministers by Decision no. 66 of May 20, 2022.

This strategy recalls the reform needs in public procurement, states the objectives to be achieved in this respect, and sets out a schedule of measures to be taken for this purpose.

It is based on the outcomes of the MAPS assessment published in March 2022, and the provisions of the Public Procurement Law no. 244/2021 that enters into force on July 29, 2022.
