Carl joined the Institute in 2009 and contributed to various training and capacity development programs organized with external partners and cooperation initiatives, particularly with the European Commission’s Technical Assistance and Information Exchange Instrument (TAIEX).
In 2010, he joined the publications department and worked on many initiatives, such as the quarterly journal of Public Finance and State Building "ASSADISSA" published by the Institute in 2012.
Carl's greatest qualities are perseverance and commitment. He pursued his studies while working full time at the Institute, earned his Master degree in Political Studies from the American University of Beirut in 2013 and his PHD from Sciences-Po Paris in 2018.
Carl aims to become a scholar and writer on Middle Eastern politics and history as well as international relations.
