Rosabel Crean|- After the announcement last week of a successful vaccine in the global fight against the coronavirus pandemic, Lebanon’s Health Ministry was quick to announce the acquisition of the Pfizer and BioNTech vaccine. Caretaker Health Minister Hamad Hasan said Lebanon would “be one of the first countries to benefit from the Pfizer vaccine.” He added that an agreement had been signed with Pfizer to secure enough vaccines to cover 15 percent of citizens.
