Biography
Bassam Abou Zeid is a Lebanese journalist and television news anchor with a career spanning several decades.
He began his media career at Radio Lebanon Libre before joining the Lebanese Broadcasting Corporation (LBC) in the late 1980s, where he worked as a television correspondent and news presenter. He has also worked with Al Hadath and LBCI.
Since 2014, he has served as President of the Lebanese Press Club, representing journalists and advocating for press freedom and the protection of media professionals. In 2025, he was appointed Chairman of the Board of Directors of Télé Liban.
