Cepiku Denita is a full professor of Public Management at University of Rome - Tor Vergata and coordinates the PhD track in Public management & Governance at the Department of Management & Law - University of Rome Tor Vergata.
She is also the editor-in-chief of Azienda Pubblica and Associate Editor of Public Management Review.
She also works as a country expert for the European Commission on the project "European Public Administration Country Knowledge" (EUPACK) since 2016 and is a member of the National Observatory on Public Employment at the Department of Public Administration, Italian Presidency of Council of Ministers.
Since 2008, she also chairs the Local Governance SIG of the International Research Society for Public Management (IRSPM) and was elected board member (membership strategy) from 2011 to 2017.
Since 2024, she is a chair of the EGPA Study Group on Citizen Participation.
Her main research interests are in the areas of collaborative governance (network management and co-production), strategic performance management, social equity, and public sector reform in developing and transition countries.
