She has served as Director General of Cooperatives at the Lebanese Ministry of Agriculture since 2014, bringing extensive experience in agricultural development, cooperative work, and public policy.
From September 2000 to April 2017, she headed the Green Plan Project, where she oversaw the implementation of agricultural infrastructure projects, promoted investment in rural areas, and supported the resilience of local communities.
She has represented Lebanon at several international forums, including the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD). She also served as Lebanon’s Governor at IFAD from 2005 to 2017. In addition, she managed and coordinated development programs funded by international donors.
She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Sciences and a Diploma in Agricultural Engineering from the American University of Beirut.
