Yassine Jaber has been appointed Minister of Finance in February 2025.

Mr. Yassine Jaber is a prominent figure in Lebanese politics and business. His political career began in 1995 when he served as Minister of Economy and Trade. He later held the position of Minister of Public Works and Transport from 2004 to 2005. He was first elected as a Parliament Member in 1996 and served continuously until 2022. During his tenure, he was, for many years, a member of the Parliamentary Finance committee, as well as head of the Foreign Affairs committee, and Leader of the Parliamentary Friendship Group with the United States.

Mr. Jaber maintains a successful business presence in both Lebanon and the United Kingdom. He is actively involved in his community, serving as Chairman of the Kamel Jaber Cultural and Social Center.

He holds a degree in Economics and Business Administration at the American University of Beirut.
