Ziad Abdel Samad is the Co-Founder and Executive Director of the Arab NGO Network for Development (ANND) that brings together 35 NGOs and 10 national networks from 12 Arab countries active in monitoring and protecting the social and economic rights.

He is involved in numerous global and regional networks that work on economic and social public policies, targeting regional and international institutions. He also collaborates with research institutes and is active in the field of reforms and election monitoring at both the national and regional levels.

He is a part-time lecturer at the Lebanese American University (LAU) and Université Saint-Jospeh de Beyrouth (USJ).
