Following the successful workshop held in December 2025 on youth engagement in budget and fiscal processes, and in an effort to continue strengthening the role of youth in public finance dialogue and advocacy, IOF organized, in collaboration with with UNICEF organized this workshop focused on social protection and social spending in Lebanon.

Participants developed the knowledge needed to engage confidently with policy makers on social protection policies and reform priorities and learned how to look for and find data on social protection using the Social Protection Spending Tracker or the newly release MOSA citizen budget.
